On the guided tour we show you the brief history of the diocese – the episcopate, later archiepiscopate, the Veszprém Chapter – and the archives, as well as the functions of the archives, what archives types there are in Hungary and what they are like.

Subsequently, we give a brief outline of the documents, charters, individual and bound files the institution holds, and the conditions of storage to prevent deterioration. Visitors can see and touch a few pieces. We demonstrate furthermore what information each series may contain and what type of research they can be used for.
